02/14/10 - removed the ‘Known Planet List’ that linked to VDZs now dead wikipage, added a ‘Online Planets’ link to a forum topic on the official site where i’ll keep a somewhat updated list of online planets.

12/05/09 - made some tables sortable. don’t know if it will make using them any easier or not, but all you need to do is click the top of a column and the table will be sorted according to that column, click it a second time for reverse sorting.
04/12/09 - added a listing of cutscene variables, updated the script variables. Deleted all the galaxy stuff except for the galaxy guides and ship stats since The TUWiki is better suited to dealing with that stuff. Also removed the sections for the Code History, Game History, Past Worlds, and Current World List since there all mostly useless.

08/15/07 - various tweaks to the stuff added in the last news bit. fixed all the height map pages so all the height maps load and they have the download section links on top of them. Fixed pretty much all the typos in this news. added 317 ground textures (41 Asphalt/Concrete, 81 Grass, 28 Dirt/Mud, 9 Snow, 124 Stone, and 34 Sand). added the blackjack game script to the download section, fixed the forums, added a fun script to punish trouble makers.
08/12/07 - fixed a bunch of broken links, moved the game scripts and event scripts links to the download section, renamed ‘world necessities’ in the download section to ‘premade stuff’. added worlds and settings links to the ‘premade stuff’ area of the download section. few other minor tweaks and edits.
08/05/07 - theres an ad (sorry) to a great web host on the top left, its the host this site uses. If anybody needs or wants a website, feel free to click the link and sign up. I get a referral bonus and that money goes to keeping this site and my world hosting server running.
06/16/07 - added a bunch of new models to the download section.
05/31/07 - added Decahwn to the A-Holes section of the Problem Players area. New download section has been added to the links on the left and the stuff for it uploaded. it is now fully operational. am still going to be adding new models to it once i figure out an easy way to take good pics of em (old method wont work anymore).
05/30/07 - I’m tired of the download section. its a pain to add stuff to, its a pain to add categories to, its a pain to update. its also a pain for players to match up models and textures since each category has models/textures named the same. so I’m remaking the download section. it’ll take a few more clicks to navigate, but it will be far easier to find stuff on it, it’ll be easier to navigate, easier to download matching models and textures, and far easier to add stuff to. To see the new download section, just CLICK HERE. keep in mind that NONE of the stuff can be downloaded yet. it’ll be mostly operational by the end of tomorrow, definitely will replace the old download section by Friday.

11/16/06 - You may notice theirs a new link on the left right above the World Owner Stuff category. This link will take you to a web game that i have installed on the site. its a 2d turn based space combat and trade game. i don’t know much about it at all settings wise yet, but its fully installed and setup without any serious problems so it should be playable for anybody who wants to test it out.
11/15/06 - Finally got the forum up! however, everybody will have to recreate their accounts. plus all the posts were deleted, but i’m going to be reposting many of them.
11/01/06 - the web ring had been fixed and the code was working fine, but i had forgotten to create the actual ring. fixed and fully operational now.

10/27/06 - fixed the web ring, fixed all the downloads. flipped the order of the vehicles, buildings, nature, and other models downloads so newer stuff is at the top. Fixed the pictures and flipped the page order so newer pics will be at the front. Replaced the Ciroz and Zoric pages in the hosted worlds section with links to the Ciroz Website and Zoric Website
10/26/06 - their was a bug in the wiki upgrade that often made pages uneditable. had to redownload the site from the old host and reupload it again here. so once again, downloads, pictures, and other scattered links wont work again.
10/20/06 - fixed the vehicle downloads, plus reversed their order so the newer stuff will be at the top.
10/19/06 - moved the site to a new host. pictures, downloads, and the forum will work again soon. might be some other stuff around that isen’t working yet either due to directory changes web host side. also upgraded the pmwiki version.

05/23/06 - zaroba snaps his fingers and TUWR magically reappears. sorry about the downtime. the site exceeded its bandwidth limit last week so i upgraded the account. but then had some minor problems but now its back up. i have to (possibly manually) recreate the sql database, but the forum seems to be working anyway (hooray for phpbb working without an sql database :P ).
04/24/06 - Added a new forum. it is called ‘Arguments / Debates / Rants’. any visitor can use it to argue/debate/complain/rant about anything or anyone thats bugging them be it somebody else that plays the game or something in their life. this forum will barely be moderated at all (the few rules are posted in the forum), so you will not have to fear the extreme censorship that occurs on the official forum. releasing pent up anger is said to be healthy for the body and it relieves stress.
04/06/06 - fixed the ugly orange text and the ugly highlighting on the forum.
03/25/06 - Changed the problem players forum a bit. instead of low/medium/high ranks, its now divided into cheaters, a-holes, and beggars. the annoying players who do those things should be posted in the appropriate topics.
03/23/06 - added item numbers to the item list, updated the client menus, updated world rules settings, updated graphic settings
03/22/06 - added a listing of all the different folders and what they hold, adding a listing saying what the different files are for. bits and pieces.
03/21/06 - not many updates lately. but i spent the past 2 hours or so making a new skin for the forum to make it match the site. its just about done, still need to find where a few odd colors being specified. soon i will also somehow add the side bar for the site to the forum.

10/02/05 - Game History section added, World History ? added. fixed the sound downloads. finally updated the site ring code. added 210 heightmaps. Made some internal changes to the gallery page selector and heightmap download page selector, moved the player info back to the main links section.
10/01/05 - zaroba has added Graphics Settings, fixed the pictures in In-Game Controls and Game Screen. added a header logo. Added yellow, orange, pink, purple, white, blackish, medium red, medium blue, greenish yellow and medium purple versions of the skin. Added subgame settings and Vehicle Settings. Replaced the Picture Gallery. changed the Download Section so it once again uses normal pages and will start adding stuff to it tomorrow. rearranged the BDats Section. Started working on the Game History section.
09/30/05 - Freako has joined the staff list. Freako added a World List and completed the World Idea List. Also managing to fix all of zaroba’s errors within his site. However if you see <vspace> throughout the site plz tell me what page in game and ill sort is ASAP. Cheers. zaroba has added World Rules, Economy Settings, Life Settings, Landscape Settings, commands moved back into the commands link, settings moved back into the settings link. World economies and buildings stuff removed. Player stuff moved back into the sidebar.
09/24/05 - Moved the skill list and item list to the main linkbar under World Info. upgraded the site to pmwiki 2.0.6 and added some minor graphical and internal code modifications (which resulted in this annoying <vspace> errors all over the place). Started work on a Banned Player List where world owners can list players they’ve banned for all to see and where world owners can go to who’s done what and a world idea list where anybody can submit ideas to and world owners can look at for ideas on worlds to make.
09/13/05 - Zoric 12 bdat finished, as is half the zoric 13 bdat, which is a harder version of ciroz and except it is economy only.
09/10/05 - Ciroz bdat has been finished, work is beginning on the heightmap. Zoric world is 3 years old, this site is 3 years old.
09/05/05 - Plans are made for ciroz, it will be an economy / racing world in the beginning. After a while, it might just be a dumbed down version of zoric, which will be getting harder.
09/01/05 - Just world news, nothing too exciting. Wings field goes down. it will be replaced with a new world named Ciroz. the reason for the change is simple, with the name Wings Field, the world seems like it should be plane based. well, it does to me anyway since theirs actually an airport named wings field in the area.
08/28/05 - Fixed the redirect. Added a site ring.
08/14/05 - Site is finally back up with a new name and a new address. The site will now be called The Universal World Resource. Its new address is http://www.tuwr.net

06/26/05 - I no longer have the time to keep this site updated for playing the game, it will now only be centered around owning worlds.
06/01/05 - Been too busy to update the site lately. Just done a bunch of minor tweaks here and their around the site. Started work on a multi-lingual guide which will probably take the rest of the year to finish :P
04/26/05 - Added 31 new pics to the gallery. Adding bridges to the download section tomorrow.
04/24/05 - Linked the building downloads to the gallery. set up the gallery so people can upload their own models/textures.
04/17/05 - More work on the gallery. Linked the vehicle downloads, texture downloads, nature downloads, humanoid downloads to the gallery. renamed Misc Stuff downloads to ornamentals and added them to the gallery.

11/9/04 - WOW. Talk about spur of the moment decisions. Yesterday afternoon qwerty got me into thinking of converting the site to a different language/portal thingy and one of the things he found was PmWiki, a free, open source, INCREDIBLY easy to edit and maintain PHP based portal. When i say incredibly easy, i mean incredibly easy. In not even 2 days, nearly the whole site was downloaded, comverted from HTML to Wiki Code, and put back online again. It’s nearly done now. And updates are so easy they can be done without even download/uploading.

10/26/04 - wow, such a long time without an update, was too much real life stuff going on so didn’t have the time to work on the site at all. a full update of the site is currently underway. got rid of tips section, got rid of Gateway Buildings stuff from 3.9x version of the game, got rid of the hall of fame and hall of shame, got rid fo the Misc section, got rid of the Space section that branched off from the main site (might bring it back somehow along with detailed info on it), rearranged a ton of files site-side, did a bit of revising on the hosting section in the owners area, got rid of the weapon list due to weapons change, deleted the out of date client connection guide, added to the Island Rewards section, removed ads on a bunch of sites (will probably readd them and sort out better placement sometime)

3/25/04 - just added 26 textures for the DTJeep that i found while browsing my hard drive.
3/13/04 - fixed the model download area a bit, wont have the pics for any of the new stuff for at least another week though. also removed some missing pics from the pic area and fixed the problem with the main pic page reloading itself in its own frame over and over and over. updated the skill list, removed some useless pages, touched up a few other little places
3/07/04 - bit of front end changes to the site. the space section will deal with space stuff. the island section will deal with island stuff. also redid the picture area making it much easier to browse and added about 100 new pictures. added a lot to the download section including 120 models and about 100 more textures
2/11/04 - readded the forums. using invisionboard this time. its alot nicer then phpbb

1/15/04 - uploaded the pic section on Site A. converted pics of alt vehicle textures to jpg so their a lot smaller to load. pointed the pic link on Site B to the pics on Site A.

12/29/03 - reuploaded the site again, but with a few minor changes. the site now has a “mirror”. atractorguide.com and isleref.com point to one of them and zarsite.com and tracref.com point to the other. they both have exactly the same thing so far, but since one is much smaller then the other, the download section might not be mirrored. currently only isleref.com and tracref.com are working, I’ll switch zarsite and atractorguide soon though.

12.21/03 PM - added 2 guides. one for setting up your island on a routed network, the other for connecting your client to an island if your having trouble getting islands to list.
12/21/03 AM - sites been down due to the host being hacked. the host lost most of the accounts they had except for older backups that were made, which is no bother to me since this whole site also exists on my hard drive always ready for upload. reuploading the site now. wont bother uploading the game pics until tomorrow, since I’m gonna re upload the old pic area, wont bother making that huge database thing again. Download section is half up, all the textures and models listed are online, but I’ve only uploaded the pics for the untextured models since tomorrow I’m going to convert them all to .jpgs so they will be a lot smaller and easier to load for the 56k’rs. besides that, I’ve been working during the weeks for the past month and only had off on the weekends and been doing stuff with family/friends on those weekends, so haven’t had the time to work on the site. might do some more work on the site tonight.
11/29/03 - had to work so didn’t get a chance to add the untextured models until now. Added a bunch of gas station and store textures.
11/25/03 - added Tractor textures to the download area. brings the number of alternate vehicle textures up to 139. Fully updated the settings pages. tomorrow I’ll put up some of the untextured models for anybody that wants to texture them
11/24/03 - added alternate Porsche, Dome, Jeep, and Dodge Viper texture to the download area. Added download area link to main links above.
11/23/03 - uploaded first bits of new download section, fixed the picture links for the Game Info section.
11/22/03 - been sick with the flu for the past while. starting to re-build the downloads section.
11/16/03 - Late last night, i found a nasty Nimda worm had come onto my computer, it also spread to the other 2 computers on my network. least afected was my old win 98 computer, most affected was my main computer. it’s programs and operating system was effected so badly i had to take the hard drive out and stick it in the island server as a 2nd hard drive in order to clean it. the virus took up 9 gigs on the drive and completely ruined numerous programs including Outlook Express and Internet Explorer. So, might not be doing any major updates over the next bit of time while i repair my computer from the Nimda’s destruction. Added the missing pics for the Misc section and Galleries, Fixed the gallery links. Uploaded all of Gallery 1. Gallery 2 might not be uploaded for a bit of time.
11/15/03 - Was able to find a program that can read off the busted drive, it is at http://www.stellerinfo.com. Added an Avator Gallery, i know it has nothing to do with a-tractor, but its useful to all the visitors of the site who also read forums. Link to it is in the “Misc” section above. will get a picture for that button sometime. The galleries might not look so good yet, as theirs still a lot of avatars to upload. theirs 2 galleries, the first one has 1000 avatars in it, the second one only about 300 so far.
11/13/03 PM - Island server has gone down for an extended period of time dfue to a hard drive failure. A new hard drive should arrive and be installed tomorrow. I was working on the site, was updating all the settings, commands, and did finish adding the buttons for all the links, but the power went out. I store the website on my island server, and when the power came back on, the island server wouldn’t boot. The hard drive has failed. It was starting to go bad for a while. It was slow to boot and sometimes would take 2 or 3 tries before it booted successfully. Ordered a new hard drive though, and it should arrive tomorrow.
11/13/03 AM - Added the Island Hosting section in the Owners Stuff area of the site, Added the top wealth rankings from Zoric 2, 3, and 4 to Zoric Islands site and will stick a good link to their somewhere on the main site later today, fixed a few missing buttons (not including the ones in the Game Info section, will do that later today too).
11/12/03 - I’m going back to the HTML version of the site. because it was easier to manage, faster to update, and looks prettier. Hall of fame updated, Guides page updated, Zoric Gateway Buildings updated. Spent a few hours making buttons for all the links and got all of them updated except for the ones in the game info section.
9/10/03 - Site is exactly 1 year old! Zoric island is 1 year old!
6/30/03 - Added some pictures of vehicles to the downloads section. Fixed the links to the Guides.
6/25/03 - Added the sites First Guide! made by Nigel aka Evil_Overlord. Also started adding the buildings section, added Tun to the rewards list for being the first island to go a year without a reset. Redid the downloads section, in a way which is now much nicer (no pics for most of the stuff yet, but soon).
6/12/03 - Bit of work been done. added about 20 new pics, and fixed up the menu screen info, still needs a bit of work though.
5/15/03 - Well, 04 is just about out and this site is reopening. Almost impossible to list all thats new in 04, but i tried to RIGHT HERE. Whats new on this site is easier to list. Mainly, the site has been optimized for 04 islands, includes all the new skills and items, well over 50 new pictures have been added (some back from when the site stopped being updated), a lot more downloads, and all the settings info for the newer settings.
4/09/03 - Site is officially being stopped updating until 04 comes out. until then I’ll be working on the site and getting it ready for re release when 04 comes out.
2/14/03 - Updated the downloads section with some of DTs new models. Did a bit of reorganizing their too, mostly server side with files etc to make it easier to update.
2/13/03 - Added a Family Royalty section. Updated Island Listing and Island Contacts (a bit). Updated the Island Economy Info section.
2/03/03 - Don’t really think the PHP conversion is gonna happen anytime soon. Buildings section taken down due to probable change when 04 comes out. Updated Zoric and FFA sites with new/more info.
1/18/02 - Hmm, no new updates for a long while. Even though theres new islands and island changes. Got a new message board for the site, a banner and pop-upless one that….somebody recommended (don’t remember who, sorry). Site might be getting converted to PHP, no clue hough. Want to hold off on the updates island wise, as I’m sure 04 will be out sometime soon, and if its the way it’s been talked about, then this site will need a complete change.
12/25/02 - huge download section update. Merry Christmas.
12/23/02 - just a bunch of tiny changes/fixes around the site, nothing major.
12/21/02 - Added FFA site.
12/19/02 - Added rest of Aramathia’s buildings info (except the few I missed). Fixed all the picture links…I think.
12/12/02 - Added half arams buildings to the individual building pages. Added a bunch of new pictures.
12/11/02 - Added Aram and The Underground to the master buildings list, also altered it so it shows the cost to build the buildings. Also did a bunch of miner fixes and touching up around the site.
12/10/02 - Putting the frameless version on hold, it’ll be a ton of work to maintain right now due to all kinds of new things I have plans to add to the site. Like 2 more islands, more downloads in the downloads section, history of each island, bunch of other things too. Hmm, apparently the conversion back to frames only is causing some wee problems to pictures, oh well. They will get fixed as time goes on.
11/29/02 - Starting work on site in MS Front Page 2002 (which I got at the store earlier today, YaY!)
11/27/02 - Completely redid the buildings listing section, updated contacts, and really added links to links section today. Also added that little poll thingy that’s up there
11/25/02 - Added Zoric I’s Nade Fac to building list. Updates are going to be a bit slower for the next month or three, working night crew at work because of the holiday season, which means I’ll be spending my days sleeping. New layout is kind of canceled for now, I had downloaded MS Front Page, but due to a failed install, I had to restore the default software that came with the comp with the backup cds.
11/16/02 - Added Links Section to list other peoples fan sites, Added Building Info for Tunbridge Tiny Bar, Small Plane Factory, Building/Parts Store, Parts Factory, Meat Processing Plant, Large Airplane Factory, Small Ammo Store, Car Factory 2, and Ammo Factory. Added a few things to the Tips section. Decided to delete the frameless version. I’ll just make the framed version look reeeaaally good using MS Front Page 2000 (instead of Notepad like I’ve been using).
11/15/02 - Big update. Added Zoric pictures for House 2, Cottage 2 and At Home screens for all houses. Added Building info for Cafe, Fruit&Veggie store, Licqure Store, and Pub. Fixed the vehicle listing for Zoric. Added a Well-Known Families List, added a teeny bit of info on an island economy and why prices of items can’t be changed. Also added frameless version of the site (looks ugly though).
11/10/02 - Moved the site back to pay host (ISP complained about me hosting it) will do some real updates in a bit, been addicted to Roller Coaster Tycoon and Ultima Online, especially my server Click Here for info on it)

10/26/02 - Sorry for the downtime today, had to install a larger hard drive in the computer. Replaced the 8 gig one with an 80 gig one

10/24/02 - Fixed the Hall Of Fame (didn’t even know it was broken), did a bunch of other little fixes around.
10/23/02 - Finished up a bit of buildings, added Full Screen Layout Description, Added info on the Status Menu, added a bit of info on the War Menu, Finished fixing the Picture list. Added a few special sections on the message boards for those with power on islands.
10/22/02 - Added another owner command that I had forgotten about, added the Island Rules section, added links to each island’s message board, did a bit of work in….a section that wont be revealed until 4.0 comes out.
10/21/02 - Fixed the sysop commands, added a few new knight commands, added a few more of the owner commands. Also made a message board for the site.
10/20/02 - Fixed a few of the pictures.
10/18/02 - Went threw all the pages in the site jotting down what needs to be fixed (lol, like ya wanna hear that), also fixed a bunch of building pages, went to resize the thumbnails so they were actually small pictures instead of shrunk large ones but accidentally hit “Save All” after resizing all the pictures and saving a few the right way, so now I got to go around and recollect all the good pictures.
10/17/02 - Added a bunch of new pictures.
10/16/02 - Added new names to the wall of shame, added sysop commands, added owner commands, finished the Building Info Menu, finished the Island Info menu, finished the Construction Info Menu including a mini Wall Building Guide, finished the Money Info Menu, added the learning times to the skill list for both Tunbridge and Zoric, Added a pictures section gathering pictures for it.
10/15/02 - Converted the Player, Baron, and Knight command pages to tables for easier viewing, updated the Building Info menu page

10/09/02 - Added all the new buildings for Zoric and fixed all the others that were only changed. Updated the vehicles for Zoric. Added Hall Of Shame for listing bad people. Added Hall Of Fame for listing good people.
10/08/02 - Ya ya, over a week that was update free. I was on vacation until the 5th, then got home to see my main computer blow its Power Supply soon after turning it on, and its the comp that held the site before uploading it. But, today I downloaded my whole site onto my server comp to host it for free (YaY!). It also means updates will come much more often and faster because instead of making many changes then uploading, I’ll be working on the site directly.
09/26/02 - I know, no updates for a few days. Today I Fixed the Unemployed Capacities for all the Tunbridge Buildings, added a complete vehicle listing, started a complete skill listing, added pages so the Tips links don’t bring up an http error, started adding an island downloads section for island owners to get custom models and textures off of.
09/22/02 - Fixed the player commands section, or should I say, Completely remade it.
09/21/02 - Added some stuff to the item listing. Found out I accidentally overwrote the player commands when I made the baron commands, will fix tomorrow.
09/19/02 - Added still more building item info (Only 12 left to do! YaY!). Fixed the pictures on the building info pages that had broken/missing pictures, added backgrounds to the pages that were missing the grassy background, and added titles to the few buildings pages that were missing them.
09/17/02 - Yet More building stuff. Added complete item listing, including what type of item it is (food, drink, vehicle, etc, etc). Will add what makes/buys/sells each item soon.
09/16/02 - Added even more building info. Added Baron commands, fixed some errors in Player commands. Damn, forgot to update the news from the past few days, and forgot to upload yesterday (it was the weekend, been doing real life fun stuff)

09/11/02 - Finished up with the prices and category of each building (build menu listing). Done some of the building item info. Time to go to bed though, not feeling well. Otherwise I’d be up until 1am working on it.
